Looking to explore a typical Japanese forest? Look no further! Our park is ideal for families with small children. Only Ohira offers tree-top walking in a bamboo forest in Japan. We have a fully-equipped BBQ site with everything you need (reservation required). Located just a 90-minute drive from Tokyo, every season brings its own pleasures! Enjoy delicious strawberries, grapes, local vegetables, and delightful ramen.
Courses
Time-based experience where participants can choose and enjoy their favorite sites, ranging from beginner to advanced levels.
TREK COURSE
Experience a real treetop adventure on our Trek Course, available for participants from 7 years old (110 cm and taller).
The biggest highlight is the freedom to enjoy any course as many times as you like within the time limit.
With different sites arranged by difficulty, you can choose where to start and challenge yourself at your own pace.
Stick to your favorite courses, or try to conquer them all!
Start with the beginner site, then move on to the advanced one once you get the hang of it—unlimited play within the set time!
It’s an exciting adventure for both kids and adults to enjoy together. ☺
Conditions
- Minimum height: 1.10m and over 7 years old / Maximum weight: 110kg
- Elementary school students must be accompanied by a supervising adult(+18) to participate in the course.
- Middle school students and high school students under 18 years of age do not need direct supervision from adults while on the course, but parental supervision from the ground is necessary.
- One adult (18+) may supervise up to three children.

High school students visiting without a guardian must bring a signed parental consent form (1 form per student). Please download, print, and bring it with you on the day of your reservation.
Adults and children have a flat rate
- 60 minutes: ¥3,000〜 per person
- 90 minutes: ¥4,000〜 per person
- 120 minutes: ¥5,000〜 per person
- Group discount (8 or more people): ¥300 off per person (for each plan)

Forest Adventure Ohira is located approximately 1 hour from Kawaguchi JCT on the Tohoku Expressway, 15 minutes from Sano-Fujioka IC, 20 minutes from Tochigi IC, and 20 minutes from Sano Premium Outlets.
From the Sano-Fujioka Interchange on the Tohoku Expressway:
(approximately 15 minutes from Sano-Fujioka IC, 1 hour from Kawaguchi JCT), take National Route 50 towards Oyama. At the third traffic light (Ota-wa Nishi Intersection), turn left and continue straight for about 8.5km. The park is located behind the Oohira Historical and Ethnographic Museum on the left side.
Arriving by train
Get off at either JR Ryomo Line’s Ōhira-Shita Station or Tobu Nikko Line’s Shin-Ōhira-Shita Station, and it’s about a 30-minute walk to Forest Adventure Ōhira.
