FUKIAGEHAMA

A large-scale outdoor park has been created at Fukiagehama, one of Japan’s three great sand dunes, providing children with opportunities for nature experiences.

Forest Adventure Fukiagehama” is set to open on March 15, 2025, in a rich natural environment overlooking Fukiagehama, one of Japan’s three great sand dunes. Utilizing the black pine, the symbolic tree of Hioki City, this will be one of the largest outdoor parks in southern Kyushu. Conveniently located about a 45-minute drive from central Kagoshima City, the park features seven sites with a total of 57 activities.

Designed for participants from first grade and up (minimum height: 110 cm), the park offers both dynamic, high-difficulty courses for thrill-seekers and more family-friendly courses with moderate challenges, ensuring enjoyment for all ages. Through play in the forest, visitors will develop independence by learning to take responsibility for their own actions and safety while experiencing the excitement of an outdoor adventure.

Forest Adventure also welcomes group visits, making it an ideal destination for school trips, excursions, children’s clubs, and sports teams. Team activities in the forest provide valuable opportunities for growth, which have been highly praised by past visitors.

Courses

Time-based experience where participants can choose and enjoy their favorite sites, ranging from beginner to advanced levels.

TREK COURSE

The course is divided into 7 sites, each with its own difficulty level, catering to children and adults alike.

Conditions

Minimum height: 1.10m and over 7 years old / Maximum weight: 110kg
Elementary school students must be accompanied by a supervising adult(+18) to participate in the course.
Middle school students and high school students under 18 years of age do not need direct supervision from adults while on the course, but parental supervision from the ground is necessary.
One adult (18+) may supervise up to three children.

Adults and children have a flat rate

60 minutes: ¥3,200 per person
90 minutes: ¥4,000 per person
120 minutes: ¥4,800 per person

NET COURSE

What is the Net Course?
The Net Course is a treetop activity where you can move around freely in a massive net world suspended 5 meters above the forest floor. Inside, you’ll find exciting challenges like suspension bridges and log crossings, as well as box-shaped net zones perfect for jumping and bouncing to your heart's content.

Enjoy 60 Minutes of Unlimited Fun!
With 60 minutes of unlimited access, you can explore your favorite spots as many times as you like. One of the best parts is the sense of freedom—since no harnesses are required, you can move naturally and easily.

Fun for Everyone
From children (height 90cm and up) to adults, this activity is perfect for families, friends, and groups. Come and enjoy a casual yet thrilling outdoor adventure in the heart of nature!

Conditions

Minimum height: 0.90m/Maximum weight: 100kg
The participation of a parent or guardian is required for preschoolers.
Parental supervision from the ground is required for elementary and junior high school students.
One adult (18+) may supervise up to two children.
